Accessibility
What we have done to make this site usable for everyone, what is not perfect yet, and how to tell us about a problem.
Last updated: August 2026.
We want this site to be usable by everyone, including people using a screen reader, keyboard navigation, magnification, or a phone in bright sunlight on a slow connection.
What we have done
- Every page works from the keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a skip link to the main content.
- Body and heading text is tested against the WCAG 2.2 AA contrast minimum on the backgrounds it actually appears on.
- Headings run in order, landmarks are used properly, and form fields have real labels rather than placeholder text standing in for them.
- Animation is decorative only, and is switched off entirely when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Text reflows down to a 320 px viewport and can be zoomed to 200% without anything being cut off.
- Images that carry meaning have alt text; decorative shapes are hidden from assistive technology.
- The site works without JavaScript — content is in the HTML, not built by a script.
Known limitations
The contact form is delivered by a third-party service, so its error messages are not fully under our control. If you hit a problem sending a message, please call or email us instead — that route always works.
Tell us if something does not work
If any part of this site is difficult to use, we would genuinely like to know. Email info@career-outlook.co.uk or call 01932 570066 and describe what happened. We will fix what we can and find another way to get you the information in the meantime.
