We are an independent recruitment agency based in Surrey, founded in 2003, who pride ourselves on offering an efficient and personal service to companies looking for staffing solutions for both permanent and contract roles.

We supply office-based staff on a full-time or part-time basis. We advertise all jobs on the leading national job boards.

We have been extremely successful in providing high calibre candidates to many local companies over the past years, and we offer a CV support service to candidates alongside it.

What being independent actually changes

Independent is an easy word to put on a website. Here is what it means in practice.

You get an owner, every time

Sharon and Jennie founded Career Outlook in 2003 and still work the vacancies themselves. Nothing is passed to a junior consultant, because there isn’t one.

Permission first, always

A candidate’s CV goes to a client with their permission, and only then. No CV blasting, no surprises for either side.

Quality over volume

We bring only the most promising candidates to the hiring table. If we cannot find the right fit, we keep looking until we do.

Local, and staying local

Based in Chertsey and working with employers across Surrey. We know the commute, the salaries and the businesses because we live here too.

Sharon Lockie

Co-founder

Co-founder of Career Outlook in 2003, after spending many years in recruitment working for small and large companies. I have been responsible for writing and posting job advertisements, screening thousands of CVs, training candidates in interview techniques, and placing the right person in the right role.

I have recruited across most levels, from graduate to director level.

This in-depth knowledge of the recruitment process means that I know what employers are looking for. I find it extremely rewarding to find candidates their perfect job.

Jennie Moss

Co-founder

Co-founder of Career Outlook since 2003. My position includes decades of experience within the recruitment sector, covering all aspects of the business.

We have grown the business year by year and have had the opportunity to work with amazing, loyal clients from small and large companies, offering various roles from junior to director level.

This has grown my knowledge and enabled me to place many candidates in employment, and empowered them to build on their careers.
